  • Managed and delivered a US$200m equity and bridge loan financing transaction for an Abu Dhabi Government owned petrochemical company.
  • Provided strategic and tactical leadership at board and audit committee levels on corporate governance, risk management, internal audit, and finance strategy for Abu Dhabi Government owned petrochemical company in United Arab Emirates.
  • Managed Etihad Airways PJSC (United Arab Emirates National carrier) strategic internal control frameworks and integrated audit portfolios with a revenue base of over US$15 billion across over 70 countries.
  • Oversaw British Airways Plc’s Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa’s corporate and financial reporting processes, business strategies and audit portfolios across 63 countries with revenue of £2.3bn and a cost base of £750m in complex and multicultural settings.

Paul Norris. M.Sc.; B.Sc.; CISI; GARP – Chief Investment Officer

  • Paul has over 25 years’ experience in energy, infrastructure, and natural resource projects with roles in investment, finance and development in Europe Middle East and Africa; and Asian regions.
  • His experience spans both developed (UK, Europe, USA, Australia, and North Asia) and emerging markets (ME, Africa, South Asia, and Russia/CIS).
  • He has strong experience in investment appraisal, financial advisory, financial structuring and modelling, debt underwriting and arranging project and acquisition finance.
  • Paul has worked as a Senior Infrastructure Advisor at the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance (DOF) where he led the government’s alternative and infrastructure finance capability.
  • He also ran DOF’s USD5bn infrastructure fund since its inception in 2014 targeting infrastructure investments mainly in Russia/CIS.
  • Paul also gained valuable transaction expertise and experience in prior senior roles at ACWA Power, VTB Capital, ABN AMRO, EDF Energy, and Bank of Ireland.

  • Paget Nyazika has over thirty years diversified energy generation, transmission and distribution experience. He has provided global strategic and tactical energy solutions across the world with expansive energy generation, transmission and distribution experience in United States, United Kingdome, European Grid in Brussels, Ireland and Zimbabwe.At Coreso in Brussels, Pages managed and co-ordinated the European power system security with special emphasis on

While at IUS in Republic of Ireland, Paget was

  • Involved in the upgrade of the distribution network to increase the capacity of the distribution network.
  • He managed the ESB network upgrade requirement 10kv to 20kv through IUS
  • He also delivered a number of project on IUS integrated Utility services and ESB Electricity Supply Board

In the United States of America, Paged worked at Landmark Electrical to deliver;

  • The Installations of industrial and commercial network in California
  • Testing of installations for compliance

While in Zimbabwe, Paget

  • delivered the strategic transmission of 132kv and 330kv
  • Was involved with the construction, operations and maintenance of the High voltage network of the Zimbabwe electricity grid.
  • Managed the administrative functions of unit line and substation staff.
  • He also worked as a High voltage power system controller for the Zimbabwe Electricity grid at their control centre.
  • Was involved in construction of distribution substations from 0.4kv 11kv, 33kv and 132kv.
  • Managed the maintenance of the above substations for routine and/or under fault.
  • He also ensured operations of the distribution network to maintain security of supply.
  • Paget was also responsible for new connections for domestic, commercial, farming and associated metering.

  • He has extensive worldwide experience in project finance for the oil and gas sector, including for major midstream pipeline and natural gas projects; private equity investment in the downstream sector, primarily in refining assets as well as distribution and marketing; overview and credit analysis of a large petrochemical producer; review of numerous potential corporate and asset investments in the downstream sector, including petrochemicals, gas-to-liquids and LNG facilities.
  • Paul has managed Hundreds of Millions of Dollars public and private equity investments in the power generation, oilfield services, refinery & retail station network, and compressed natural gas within the West African region and European countries.

Oladayo Salawu. B.Engr.; MBA – Chief Operations Officer, Nigeria

  • Oladayo Salawu is a power systems development engineer with over 12years experience in the deployment and management of alternative power solutions involving generation (captive &embedded) and distribution (smart grids, and off grid) solutions.
  • Oladayo have vast experience in power plant designing, operations modelling and management, power systems audit and appraisal, grid development and optimization, systems integration, and project management.
  • He managed gas power plant asset worth over US$40m with over 58km of distribution network, which is one of the biggest IPPs in southwest Nigeria.
  • Oladayo has helped developed and has managed several IPP solutions across the public and private sectors in Nigeria with total combined portfolio of over US$200m.
  • He has a B. Tech mechanical engineering and also an MBA from the Ladoke Akintaola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. He has undergone a wide range of certifications and training with world renowned OEM`s in Germany, Denmark, Sweden and all across Europe.

Kayode Rominiyi

Kayode Olaitan Rominiyi. HND – Executive Director, Operations & Maintenance, Nigeria

  • Kayode Rominiyi is a resourceful engineer with versed experience in Mechanical works and Production Engineering. He brings on board more than twenty years of experience in maintenance of gas turbine, gas and diesel generators, Compressors, Valves, Heating Ventilations & Air Conditioning (HVAC) and other reciprocating equipment.
  • Kayode started his career with C.B & I Nigeria Limited in 2000 and was deployed to the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) plant in Bonny Island, Rivers State for operation and maintenance works.
  • He later joined TSKJ Limited has Maintenance Manager. Kayode had the opportunity to work with the Nigeria foremost Energy Company –Negris Limited – where he gained considerable cognizant experience in carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on several power plants and their balance of plant (BoPs).
  • Thereafter, Kayode joined Viathan Engineering Limited as a Maintenance Manager overseeing operation and maintenance of six (6) power plants with a combined installed capacity of about 50MW (Lagos Island -17MW, Ilupeju -4MW, Lekki -8MW, Lishabi -8.5MW).
  • Kayode’s contribution at different times in maintenance position in the aforementioned companies cannot be underestimated as his efforts brings about high reliability, durability, availability and profitability to the plant.
  • Kayode graduated from the Polytechnic, Ibadan with Higher National Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He attended several trainings locally and abroad on troubleshooting, operation and maintenance of power plant.
